LightScribe is an innovative new technology that allows your

disc drive to burn silkscreen-quality labels directly onto CDs

and DVDs with a laser instead of a printer. It uses your

drive’s existing laser to deliver precisely controlled light

energy images through a revolutionary new circular writing

system, which causes a visible, chemical change in the dye

coating that lasts.

LightScribe uses a combination of your CD or DVD drive,

specially coated discs, and enhanced disc-burning software
